This program is intended for clinicians with prior exposure to neurointerventional or endovascular procedures who wish to further advance their procedural skills under expert guidance.

Program Format

The program follows a blended learning model and includes:

Online / Distance Learning

  • Structured theoretical curriculum
  • Case-based discussions and assessments
  • Virtual simulation modules for procedural understanding

Program Track Record (Since 2011)

  • Advanced on-site training completed by six former fellows
  • Training programs conducted in India and Japan
  • Emphasis on advanced techniques, clinical decision-making, and real-world procedural competence

On-Site / In-Person Training

  • Observership (3 months)
  • Supervised clinical exposure to patient selection, procedural planning, workflow, and post-procedure care

  • Contact Program (1 month)
  • Expert-led discussions and case reviews, along with hands-on skill development using:

      • Simulation laboratories

      • Animal models

      • Cath lab–based procedural training

      • Expert-supervised live case training
